Buses in Corfu island
There are two kind of buses in Corfu:
the blue buses that cover short distances from Corfu Town and the green buses that go for longer destinations around the island.
The blue buses usually depart from San Rocco Square in Corfu Town and go to the port, Kanoni, Mandouki, Benitses, Achillion, Gouvia and Kontokali.
The central bus station of the green buses is located above the port of Corfu and run routes to Paleokastritsa, Lefkimi, Acharavi, Roda, Messongi, Pelekas and generally to almost all villages and beaches around the island.
Taxies in Corfu island
There are taxi ranks all around Corfu Town and in the most popular tourist spots around the island.
There are also taxis at the port when ferries arrive and at the airport.
Car Rentals in Corfu island
There are many car and motorbike rental agencies around the island of Corfu.
Many car rentals can be found at the port but also in the most tourist places.
Boats to Corfu island
From the old port of Corfu Town, there are very frequent boats to Vidos, a tiny islet opposite the port of Corfu, for swimming and dining.
There are also boat trips from Corfu Town to Parga, Paxi and even Albania.
From Paleokastritsa, there are boats to the caves of Paleokastritsa and close beaches.
From Sidari, there are boats to Mathraki, Othoni and Ereikoussa, three small and secluded islands north of Corfu.
